Women in Conversation
invites women to
An Encounter
Saturday morning
June 5, 9:30 am -11:45
Bonnie Hardwick, (Spiritwriter, NM)
Elizabeth and Mary, 2021.
What can happen when women of faith encounter one another, others, the world, the Church? In our times, what are you/we encountering, and how do we go forward? As a catalyst for our conversations, we will first view a clip from Diana Butler Bass in “Blest Are You.”
In “ Blest Are You,” Diana Butler Bass illuminates the greetings in the encounters of the Angel, Mary and Elizabeth and how in their exchanges something new unfolds. . .
Note this meeting will be on ZOOM, so please email Jean Molesky-Poz at moleskypoz@mac .com for more information, and for the link on Zoom. Please note that, as always, this event is for WOMEN ONLY and feel free to invite any woman you think would be interested. For more information you can also reach out to: Ellen Baker at eob510@gmail.com.
Bass is an award-winning author of twelve books, a popular speaker, inspiring preacher, and one of America’s most trusted commentators on religion and contemporary spirituality. This recording is of her presentation at the Rev. Francis L. Markey Women in Ministry Speaker Series event on 12/7/2020, sponsored by the Graduate Program of Pastoral Ministry at Santa Clara University.
