Special Indulgences

 The Apostolic Penitentiary at the Vatican is granting the gift of special indulgences to those who are Coronavirus patients and those who care for Coronavirus patients, including by prayer. The indulgence is extended to those who pray for the sick and suffering, those who pray for an end to the virus, and those who pray for the deceased (by either reading scripture for 30+ minutes, praying a rosary, praying the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, or visiting the Blessed Sacrament.) The usual conditions must be met (of being detached from sin, praying for the pope’s intentions, and having a sacramental confession and receiving the Eucharist when it is safe to do so.)
