Advancement Team

Composed of parishioners, students, and alumni experienced in professional fundraising and institutional advancement, the Parish Advancement team works with Pastor Xavier, Father Pius and administrative staff to oversee all the various dimensions of effective fundraising and the long-term financial development of the parish, including:

Fundraising large and small for parish needs, such as running major capital campaigns like the current 2026 Critical Needs as well as other necessary ongoing programmatic and parish funding.

Working with administrative staff on ensuring consistent and engaging communications across both social and traditional media, including the quarterly parish newsletter “Faces of Newman” and the parish Facebook page and YouTube channel.

Regular grant-writing to both Catholic foundations and other funding sources to secure support for our ministries and the physical upkeep of our parish home.

Provide expert ongoing guidance to parishioners on how to maximize the charitable benefits of their regularly weekly giving, to facilitate any major financial gifts parishioners might wish to make to the parish, and to support and thank both our major donors and all the various members of the Newman Legacy Society, that is, those parishioners who have included Newman in their estate planning.
