Tuesday Afternoon Theology

is an informal discussion group that works its way through books of theological and spiritual interest. Tuesdays, 1:00 p.m. All are welcome. Come see if this nourishes your hunger.

Fiction Book Group

Taize Prayer

is an hour of simple Christian meditative prayer and chant. The services are the second Friday of the month at 7:30 p.m.

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Catholics

has been an integral part of community life at Newman for over 20 years. We meet every first and third Thursday of the month during the school year at 7:30 p.m. We encourage and affirm our spirituality and our sexuality in the Christian Faith through the Catholic tradition. Newman Alumni Council

is made up of long-standing graduates and attendees of Cal and other local colleges and universities. Our annual Christmas party is in December of each year, and the 2007 annual meeting and brunch are scheduled for Sunday, March 25, following the 11:30 a.m. Mass. New members are always welcome! Newman Adult Brunch Group

The Newman Adult Group is a ministry of singles and couples, 25 years and older. Our focus is fellowship, faith development, and service to Newman. We meet most Sundays after the 9:30 a.m. Mass in the lobby.
