Anna Marie Franco, facilitator for the May 15th Marriage Enrichment dinner, has been a teacher/educator for 30 years, and a Marriage and Family Therapist for 15. She holds Masters degrees in Counseling Psychology and Theological Studies.
Though now devoting much of her time to her Marriage and Family Therapy practices in Berkeley and Richmond, Anna Marie has worked for the Diocese of Oakland consulting with parishes, teaching in the School of Pastoral Ministry, and conducting workshops for couples and families.
One aspect of her approach to counseling, Imago Relationship Therapy, comes from the work of Dr. Harville Hendrix, author of the best selling book, Getting the Love You Want. Imago Relationship Therapy is a comprehensive approach to working with couples and families that has helped thousands throughout the world.
